#PeshawarAttack - PTI's Attitude - ''Shameful Act''

Parents of children injured in the deadly massacre at the Army Public School (APS) in Peshawar last month came out in protest outside the Chief Minister (CM) house on Tuesday, saying they were shunned by government officials when they inquired about the medical treatment of their children. The parents had been invited to the chief minister house to observe the 40-day mark (Chehlum) of the deadly attack that took the lives of 132 children. The father of two boys injured in the attack, Muhammad Nawaz said he had intended to speak with the chief minister about his failure to send one of his sons abroad for treatment as promised, but the chief minister declined to respond. He alleged that Member of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Shaukat Ali Yousafzai resorted to name-calling. About 15 to 20 parents left the memorial ceremony as lunch was served and gathered outside for the protest.
What can be more inhumane can this? And how can the champions of human rights and accountability claim to be creating a new Pakistan? Is that a new Pakistan where those parents whose children were killed and injured by the Taliban are now being insulted and humiliated by the PTI leadership?
Instead of honouring these parents and giving them comfort they were treated with bad mouth and pushed around like beggars.
The Chehlum of these martyred students in first place should have been organised inside the Army Public School instead of the Chief Minister house and this event should have been attended by the Prime Minister, the president, the Chief Justice of Supreme Court, the Chief of Army Staff, the federal cabinet and all the ambassadors of different countries should have been invited. This event should have been marked as one of the most memorable in the history of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but instead the Chief Minister KPK, Pervez Khattak and PTI member provincial aseembly, Shaukat Yousafzai resorted to using abusive language and ignoring those parents who had received bullet ridden bodies of their children only fourty days ago. How would have they felt if they were the parents of one those children?
Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan should take a suo moto of this incident and give an exemplary punishment to those responsible for misbehaving with the parents of martyred students. If these public representatives have no time for the parents of martyred students of Army Public School then they should be made to spare time and appear in the court every day for next whole month and should be asked to tender a public apology.
Pakistan at present times needs unity and support for those who are rendering their lives for the survival of this country. It is through the blessing of Pakistan that we have everything that we enjoy and our rulers need to remember this while dealing with the public of this country. Pakistan survival is based on those shoulders who have laid down their lives for its existence and well being. Those shoulders should be strengthened with combine efforts of each and every Pakistani. Those young martyrs of Army Public School were the shoulders who held the existence of Pakistan. Those students should always be remembered and their parents should always be respected by each and everyone of us. The entire nation feels ashamed of whatever happened at the chief minister house KPK during Chehlum of shaheed students of Army Public School.
