www.dailytimes.com

Citizens have voiced strong protest against deployment of students of schools on the duty of administering polio drops instead of schools teachers.
Heads of certain schools have sent students of class 9th and 10th for performing duty in connection with anti polio campaign following the refusal by teachers from doing the job of polio vaccination. The students of schools administered polio drops to children in Dhok Chaudhry, Afshan Colony, Hazara Colony, Aziz Abad, Mughal Abad, Peoples Colony and other areas. The students were clad in uniform while performing their duty of administering polio drops. Two teams of students have been set up in this regard.
The teachers organizations have demanded that action be taken against the headmasters who have deployed students on polio vaccination duty as it was decided that class four employees of schools and Mohalla level committees will perform this duty.
