Pakistan: 25 foreign, local terrorists killed in air strikes: ISPR

Six terrorists' hideouts including a training camp and an improvised explosive devices making factory around Hassukhel, North Waziristan Agency were destroyed by jet aircraft early Tuesday morning. According to ISPR here, 25 foreign and local terrorists were killed in the strikes. The operation in North Waziristan Agency is progressing as per plan. The cordon around all terrorists' hideouts including in the town of Mirali and Miranshah has been further tightened and reinforced. Last night, three terrorists were killed while fleeing from the cordoned off area in Miranshah. One soldier got injured in exchange of fire. No operation in built up area has been started so far to ensure that no terrorist can escape the cordon and all innocent civil population is safely evacuated after their detailed verification. Necessary Logistics and administrative arrangements for IDPs have been completed by Political Administration and Disaster Management Agency. Security of IDP camp is being ensured by army troops. Air surveillance of the operational area with the help of own surveillance assets is continuing.
