Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Patron-In-Chief, Pakistan Peoples Party has extended full support to military operation against terrorists in North Waziristan and appealed the nation to stand solidly behind the soldiers. This is the time to save our country, and our people from destruction at the hands of beasts who have already taken over 50,000 lives of our people, injured and ravaged many more lives.
“To save our future generations from the monster of terrorism and extremism, we need to unite and decisively target those who mow down innocent people and wish to impose their nefarious agendas on this great nation,” Bilawal Bhutto said while supporting Zarb-e-Azb military operation against Taliban terrorists announced today.
PPP Patron-In-Chief said “right from the assassination of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto to today, thousands of our people and soldiers fell to the bullets and bombs of terrorists. The entire nation has been paralyzed by the terrorist acts of these anti-Pakistan and anti-Islam elements,” he added.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said each and every Pakistani stands behind our armed forces in this need of hour as they did during Operation Raah-e-Raast in 2009 during People’s government.
He also announced that the blood to be donated by thousands of PPP workers and leaders as a tribute to Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto on her birthday June 21 will be handed over for soldiers on the frontline in Operation Zarb-e-Azb. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also asked the workers and leaders of Pakistan Peoples Party to pray for soldiers fighting the terrorists for the protection of Pakistani nation. He hoped there will be a total defeat and annihilation of the terrorists as all of them challenge the writ of the state.
He added that “Sindh had already begun the fight. Such a long battle can only be won in coordination with each other, with shared resources and real-time knowledge as well as back up for each province’s operational capacities. The time to signal our joint resolve is upon is. Let history be witness that the PPP has always been ready for this fight and has joined in it with the full force of public consent behind us.”
PPP Patron-In-Chief said it is time PM Nawaz took all provincial governments, civilian agencies and parliamentary leaders into confidence. He reminded that it was PPP that first demanded this operation and he himself has been in forefront asking for the operation to take place to get rid of the terrorists once for all.
