President Zardari strongly condemns terrorist attacks in Quetta

Saturday strongly condemned the bomb blast in a university bus and a terrorist attack at the Bolan Medical Complex. The attack on the bus of Sardar Bahadar Khan Women University killed scores of innocent students while many were injured. In another related terrorist attack Deputy Commissioner Quetta Abdul Mansoor Kakar, para medical staff and security personnel at Bolan Medical Complex were killed. President Zardari said that such terrorist attacks will not weaken the resolve of the Pakistani nation to defeat the evil once for all. The President paid tribute to the martyred DC Abdul Mansoor Kakar and other personnel who sacrificed their lives while performing their duties. The President reiterated that such dastardly acts cannot weaken the resolve of the nation to continue struggle against extremism and militancy till its logical conclusion. He termed the blasts and attack as "cowardly and inhuman acts" and expressed his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved families. He also directed the authorities concerned to provide best possible medical assistance to the injured. The President prayed for the departed souls and also for courage to the bereaved families to bear these losses with fortitude.
